How it Works

The intent of the EABX program is to enable businesses to achieve the next level of success. Active client company participation is essential to the success of the client company. All involved are tasked to be ethical and dedicated to the betterment of their organizations and the Central Florida business community.

A client company is a for-profit business that has been in operation for at least two years and has minimum revenues of $5 million. Applicants are reviewed, and accepted or declined by the EABX committee on a case-by-case basis. All information shared by a client company is strictly confidential and only solicited for the purpose of helping a client company in its efforts to grow the business.

Client companies may engage the professional services of a board member outside the scope of the EABX.

Being accepted as a client company requires a strong sense of commitment to the process, and the willingness to follow through on board recommendations.

Client company responsibilities include:

  1. Commitment to a minimum of one, one-hour board meeting per quarter.
  2. Providing formal business and marketing plans to board members for review.
  3. Providing a personal vision for the company.
  4. Providing specific goals for the company.
  5. Providing financial information as needed by board members to enable them to properly advice for growth opportunities.
  6. Advising an executive committee member if there is overt selling by a volunteer board member of his/her company products or services.
  7. Making a serious commitment to act on recommendations made by board members.
